Meet Joseph Szucs

Senior Associate

As a Senior Associate in Commercial real estate Joseph Szucs is aptly qualified to take on an array of commercial real estate transactions ranging from land sales to site development. Joseph maintains a strong ability to negotiate, communicate, and to provide market-based representation as a commercial associate with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Properties Group – Commercial Division.

Joseph has experience in sales, site selection, property development, business brokering, leasing and management, making him well-versed and a research savvy commercial associate.

As a graduate of the University of Manitoba, Canada, Joseph earned degrees in economics and finance, as well as completing real estate courses focusing on appraisal, site analysis, development and property management.

Joseph has been involved in nearly every as aspect of real estate for over 40 years, in both Canada as well as in the United States. Joseph has developed, sold, leased and/or managed an accumulative 15 million square feet of commercial space, ranging in size from a 12,000 square foot retail strip center to a 750,000 square foot multi-use development.

Some of the more recent projects Joe has been involved in are, a 30,000 square foot center developed and sold in the Tampa Bay Area, a 55,000 square foot center rehabbed in Miami, a 40,000 square foot center redeveloped in Miami, and a 100,000 square foot food-anchored center rehabbed and expanded in Greater Tampa Bay.

Joseph is an active member of the Business Brokers of Florida, International Association of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Florida Gulfcoast Association of Realtors (FGCAR), and subscriber to Stellar Multiple Listing Service.
