Matthew Shaw is a specialist in investment sales in addition to office/retail sales and leasing with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Properties Group – Commercial Division. Matt joined Prudential Commercial Real Estate FL, now Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Properties Group, in 1999. His expertise extends to the sale of numerous income-producing properties in the Greater Tampa Bay area valuing in excess of $254,633,000 and over 2,913,950 SF.

Matt has been awarded the Top Team GCI Award, the Chairman’s Circle Gold Award (Top 5% Nationally), Chairman’s Platinum Award (Top 3% Nationally), Chairman’s Circle Diamond Award (Top 1% Nationally), 5 Year Legend Award 2019 by Prudential Commercial Real Estate FL and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices and a Florida Gulfcoast Association of Realtors (FGCAR) Pinnacle Award winner.

Matt holds the highly accredited CCIM designation which incorporates over 200 classroom hours of study focusing on financial, market, user decision and investment analysis – the cornerstones of real estate use and investment. Only 6 percent of the estimated 150,000 commercial real estate practitioners nationwide hold the CCIM designation, which reflects not only the caliber of the program, but also why it is one of the most coveted and respected designations in the industry.

Matt holds many professional designations as a member of the Florida Gulfcoast Association of Realtors (FGCAR), the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Florida Association of Realtors (FAR) the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Matt is also a graduate of the Leadership Pasco program.

Matt graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1998 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health & Science.

Matt is involved with several organizations throughout the community such as the YMCA Gills Branch (volunteer Board Chairman) and Take Stock in Children Pasco County. He also participates and assists in the Jesuit Dad’s Club.

Matt enjoys spending time with his wife Sheri and their two boys.
